College of Nursing elevates interim assistant dean to permanent role
Angela Mulcahy-Spence has been with the college since 2012

Dr. Angela Mulcahy-Spence
Angela Mulcahy-Spence, PhD, was recently selected as the Texas A&M University College of Nursing’s new assistant dean for undergraduate nursing education – Bryan-College Station. She held the interim role since September 2024.
Mulcahy-Spence joined the College of Nursing in 2012 and was instrumental in establishing its simulation program and enhancing baccalaureate offerings. She has also served as the college’s coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and honors programs.
Last year, Mulcahy-Spence completed fellowships with AACN’s Elevating Leaders in Academic Nursing (ELAN) and Texas A&M’s Faculty Aspiring Leadership (FALP) programs. She holds a BSN from the University of Wyoming, Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and PhD from The University of Texas at Tyler.
