School of Nursing appoints associate dean for clinical and outreach affairs
Nicole Peters Kroll has served in acting interim capacity since July
The Texas A&M University School of Nursing has appointed Nicole Peters Kroll, PhD, APRN, ANP-C, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, to associate dean for clinical and outreach affairs after serving in an acting interim capacity since July. Her promotion became effective on Jan. 16 and includes a faculty appointment as a clinical associate professor.
Peters Kroll has diverse experience in clinical practice, administration and academia. She was an early faculty member in the school beginning in 2008 and, after holding faculty and administrative roles at several other institutions, returned a year ago as assistant director of clinical and outreach affairs. Peters Kroll has also maintained a clinical practice as a nurse practitioner, including serving the school’s mobile clinic and University Health Services.
Peters Kroll has a PhD in nursing from The University of Texas at Tyler, an MSN from Texas Woman’s University and a BSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She holds post-master’s nurse practitioner certificates in psychiatric mental health and family from Liberty University and the University of Massachusetts Boston, respectively.
