High school students enroll in predental program

(DALLAS) – The Office of Student Development at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry is accepting applications for its High School Summer Pre-dental Enrichment Program (SPEP). The SPEP offers opportunities for ninth- through 12th-grade students in the Dallas area who have an interest in dentistry.
SPEP is designed to increase students’ dental career awareness through hands-on activities, interaction with dental faculty and students, as well as collaboration with students who share the same interest. The program also helps students develop study skills in preparation for admission to college.

Applications can be downloaded at https://dentistry.tamhsc.edu/student-development/spep-programs/highschool.html. Application deadline for the SPEP 10 and 11 for current ninth- and 10th-graders is May 14 for the June 14-18 program. Application deadline for the SPEP 12 for current 11th-graders is Feb. 12 for the June 21-Aug. 2 program
