Bolin Peer Reviewer for AHRQ
Jane Bolin, Ph.D., J.D., R.N., associate professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health and director of the Southwest Rural Health Research Center, has recently been selected as a peer reviewer in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ), Safety and Quality Improvement study section.
“Your selection reflects an acknowledgement of your outstanding professional achievements,” wrote Andrew Louden, Ph.D., scientific review officer at AHRQ.
Dr. Bolin’s 15 years of practice as an attorney in health related areas and her practice in nursing, including critical care, provide a unique research and policy perspective on issues related to health law as it intersects with compliance and protection in research, as well as the regulation of providers, hospitals and health organization.
Dr. Bolin will participate in AHRQ study section peer reviews three times per year for four years.
