Carpender, Payton receive Outstanding Staff Awards
Kay Carpender was honored with the 2013 Outstanding Staff Award by Interim Dean Jim Burdine during the recent holiday luncheon at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health. Ms. Carpender has been with the school for 12 years and is assistant director of the Office of Special Programs and the director of the Training and Education Collaborative System-Preparedness and Emergency Response Learning Center.
The Outstanding Staff Honorable Mention Award was given to Samantha Payton. Ms. Payton has been with the school for five years and serves as administrative coordinator for the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
