Texas A&M University’s online bachelor’s degree program, delivered exclusively via the College of Nursing’s RN-to-BSN offering, is No. 1 in Texas and the 12th best in the country, according to the 2025 U.S. News and World Report Best Online Programs rankings.

The RN-to-BSN program is designed for registered nurses with an associate degree in nursing seeking to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The online curriculum can be completed in 12 or 15 months while students complete individual practicum experiences in their own communities.

The BSN available through the RN-to-BSN track is the only Texas A&M undergraduate degree available entirely online.

Other Texas A&M programs in business, education and engineering were also ranked high by U.S. News and World Report.

Methodologies for the rankings consider factors like engagement; service and technologies; faculty credentials and training; and peer assessment.
