Dean Blakely presented with flag
(McAllen, TX) — Craig Blakely, Ph.D., M.P.H, dean of the Texas A&M Health Science Center (HSC) School of Rural Public Health, recently was presented with a U.S. flag flown over the Texas State Capitol at the request of Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar in recognition of Dr. Blakely’s appointment as dean. The flag and certificate were presented by Victor de Leon on behalf of Congressman Cuellar at the HSC McAllen campus. The campus’ faculty and staff strive to improve the lives of families living in Rio Grande Valley communities through education, research and outreach and to provide students the opportunity to pursue two Master of Public Health programs, one a concentration in border health and another in health policy and management.
