Dr. May named Community-Engaged Scholarship for Health Fellow
Marlynn May, Ph.D., of the Texas A&M Health Science Center was recently appointed by Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) as the first Community-Engaged Scholarship for Health (CES4Health) Fellow.
Dr. May is an adjunct associate professor of health promotion and community health sciences at the TAMHSC-School of Rural Public Health. He is also a senior scholar in the Center for Community Based Research and Education at St. Luke’s Episcopal Health Charities in Houston.
CES4Health is a free peer-reviewed online publication service for those seeking to publish and disseminate health-related, community-based participatory research (CBPR) works in alternative formats such as curricula, videos, manuals and textbooks. Dr. May will promote CES4Health as a unique resource for CBPR community and academic researchers and collaborate with CBPR teams requesting technical assistance and mentoring in preparing submissions to CES4Health.
