Veterans health services present at SRPH

The Department of Health Policy and Management at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health welcomes the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the South Central VA Health Care Network to a presentation Friday, May 28 at 10 a.m. in Classroom Building Room C108 of the school’s complex (corner of University Drive and Adriance Road).

“Towards Regional Veterans Health Services Research Partnerships” will be presented by Mark E. Kunik, M.D., M.P.H., and Greer Sullivan, M.D., M.S.P.H.

Dr. Kunik is associate director of the Houston Health Services Research and Development Center of Excellence at the Houston VAMC, associate director of the South Central Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC), and professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Sullivan is MIRECC director at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System and professor in the Division of Health Services Research Department of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
