Zhang to receive scholarship and award

Chen Zhang, M.P.H., doctoral student at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health, has been selected as the recipient of the HIV/AIDS Section Student Scholarship and winner of the most outstanding HIV/AIDS abstract from among 300 submissions nationwide.

Zhang will receive both awards at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting on Nov. 11 in Denver. The title of her winning abstract is “Female Sex Workers’ Stable Sexual Partners in China: A Hidden Population at High Risk of HIV Transmission.”
